Lady Lightning Gold is expanding again. We are looking for
quality coaches that would like to coach at the regional level in our
program. We are looking for coaches that have experience coaching
quality travel ball players.
We
will fill a 14U and 16U regional team that will compete is several
regional Showcase events in NC, SC, VA, TN. These teams will also
participate in ASA State events, ASA Eastern national events and Triple
Crown events in Myrtle Beach.

- 14U Futures
- Lady Lightning Gold Futures 14u will looking for quality players preferably left handed batters. This team will play major showcase events and will qualify for PGF & ASA Nationals. This team is the 2 time defending NC ASA State Champions and the only 2 time PGF National representative from NC. All interested need to have the desire to pursue D1 college Softball opportunities. - 16U uncommitted
- Lady Lightning Gold Elite 16u uncommitted will be looking for the style of players that are interested in playing softball at the highest level and has the skills to pursue D1 opportunities. These teams play in all major showcase events from Sept-Aug and pursue PGF & ASA National berths. The Lady Lightning Futures 14U program was successful in securing a berth to the Premier Girls Fastpitch Nationals in Huntington Beach California July 31-Aug 7. LLF traveled to Newtown Pennsylvania to attempt to secure a berth to this prestigious National event. LLF entered the event as the only team from NC and proceeded to win their first 3 bracket games in order to secure the berth. The PGF National will host College Coaches from all over the country to watch 14U, 16U, and 18U teams from all over the country. We are very proud of the program and what we are building. These players are learning at an early age how to prepare to play at the next level and to be strong recruitable players. The Lady Lightning Gold Team Miken finished in the top 1/2 of the final ESPN Rise National championship tournament standing with a 2-2 record. All 4 games were against teams that also finished in the top 1/2 of the standings, SoCal Jets (3-2), the SD Renegades (2-2), Irvine String (3-2) and the
SoCal Breakers (2-2). Strong showing ladies!
We appreciate the players and parents that are
committed to the growth of our program and the college coaches that are
recruiting our kids. We are excited about the future for these players.
